El groenlandés (Kalaallisut, «la lengua de los groenlandeses») es una lengua esquimo-aleutiana y la única lengua oficial de Groenlandia desde 2009. Lo hablan unas 57.000 personas. El estándar se basa en el kalaallisut, la variedad del oeste de Groenlandia; el groenlandés oriental (tunumiit) y el esquimal polar (inuktun) son dialectos distintos, no siempre inteligibles con el estándar.
