El tigriña (ትግርኛ) es una lengua etiosemítica con unos 9 millones de hablantes: es la lengua de trabajo de Eritrea (junto al árabe) y una de las lenguas oficiales de la región de Tigray, en Etiopía. Desciende, junto al amárico y el tigré, de la antigua lengua ge'ez y es el pariente vivo más cercano del ge'ez.
