El inuktitut (ᐃᓄᒃᑎᑐᑦ) es la principal lengua inuit del este de Canadá, con unos 39.000 hablantes en Nunavut, Nunavik (el norte de Quebec) y Nunatsiavut (Labrador). Es una de las lenguas oficiales de Nunavut y forma parte del amplio continuo dialectal inuit que va de Alaska a Groenlandia pasando por Canadá. La variedad emparentada del Inuvialuit (oeste de Canadá) a veces se cuenta aparte.
El inuktitut se escribe en dos sistemas: el silabario aborigen canadiense, usado en Nunavut y gran parte de Nunavik (ᐃ = i, ᐅ = u, ᐊ = a, rotado según la consonante), y la ortografía romana de base latina usada en Labrador y partes del Ártico occidental. En 2019 se aprobó un sistema unificado, el Inuktut Qaliujaaqpait, aunque su adopción es gradual. Como el groenlandés, es una lengua polisintética: una sola palabra puede equivaler a una frase.
